About me

I am Martin Askew, a 26 year old Graphic Designer based in Liverpool, England. Over the last couple of years, I have been fine tuning my skills as a designer through my personal and professional endeavours. 

 

My passion for design started at school, and it has been something I have adored ever since. After completing a BA in Graphic Design and a Masters degree in Marketing, I joined the family at Ultracell as an in-house designer. In my role, I am responsible for creating and designing content for both Ultracell and their Medi-spa. I am hands-on when it comes to designing brochures, editor layout, motion graphics typography, and social media content - more specifically, Instagram. I love getting involved and bringing peoples visions to fruition.

 

Over the last few years, the pandemic made me push myself out of my comfort zone and develop my skills as a designer. I have always had an interest in After Effects, and over the last year, I have been teaching myself the basics. This skill has been extremely beneficial in my daily job, as I can create designs with motion elements in mind.
